Give a brief explanation of your job.
My role is to connect the clients we represent with the community we want to reach, providing strategic planning, media relations, community revelations and more.
How long have you been a member of FPRA and why did you join?
I have been a member of FPRA since fall 2017. I became an FPRA member in order to connect with my peers, creating new partnerships, and continuing to learn from others in our industry. 2019 has been a great year doing that.
What has been your favorite FPRA event so far?
I have two favorite FPRA events!
Media Mashup, it was great to meet FPRA members and connect with media members, which has led to some wonderful new relationships.
FPRA annual conferences. It was an excellent opportunity to connect with others members and learn from experts in the industry. Furthermore, it was an opportunity to connect and spend more time with members of the FPRA Orlando Area chapter.
Tell us about an exciting achievement (personal or professional).
Living in Orlando for the past 19 years has offered me so many opportunities both professionally and personally. Since I recently joined the Lourdes Mola Solutions team, I am excited to continue to connect and build relationships with our clients and the Central Florida community, statewide and nationwide.
My previous role as PR Executive for a Hispanic Marketing agency allowed me to be a part of numerous amazing projects. I learned the importance of partnerships, research and built meaningful connections with people. The growth that I have earned in the last three years in the PR industry has been gratifying.
On a personal note, I’m proud to serve on the National Association of Hispanic Journalist and Florida Public Relations Association Orlando Area Chapter boards. Furthermore, I am honored to be a volunteer on the communications team for Come Out With Pride and The One Orlando Alliance. Lastly, I’m proud to be an Emmy-nominated journalist (recovering journalist, like I often call myself) and an Image Award winner all in the last three years.
What was your first job?
My first job was dishwasher at Boston Market. Quickly, management moved me to cook and host due to my outgoing personality. It was a fun job.
I love to travel, read, eat and consider myself Britney Spears’ number 1 fan.
